Designing Life– Consciously….Is This REALLY Possible?

In the recent months I’ve taken the time to stop and look closely at what is working and what is not in my business and my life; I have been evaluating the parts that are interesting and exciting to me and the areas that need to change.  It is so easy to bumble along and accept the life that comes to us.  I believe it is the courageous one who becomes pro-active by envisioning and designing businesses and lives that reflect what we most value.

I mentioned last week that I have been in a personal transition and have been looking at my own tools and ways to traverse life: its challenges, joys and opportunities and it’s joys. For a long time I have wanted to share with you these invaluable resources and supports for creating a life of prosperity, influence and passion now.  In my last blog I mentioned that I would be revealing powerful information in May and June that has supported me greatly on my journey….I am excited about the Elixir Course http://theessentialfeminine.com/shop  and about the women who are signing up for the journey with me. Here are a few gems that may be helpful to you in your day to day life.  I started to assess my life and in the process,   realized I needed to ask myself some specific questions.  Take a look at the list below and read on.  This is a small piece of the journey I have been traversing in the past few months.

We must begin by

• Looking closely at what Is working and what Is not – notice in your business what must change – notice in your personal life what must change.
• Begin to tune into your natural rhythm, notice what supports you (quiet time, working at a certain time of the day, working out with a certain vigor) being cognizant of the seasons and the biorhythms of the day.  When we are aware of our daily rhythms and what is working and not working,  we can make powerful changes to enhance our energy.
• Measuring Your Day Against Your Destiny – Become clear about why you are here and each day be conscious of whether you are living with that reason at the forefront of your day.

Putting the pieces of life together… Making sense of it all?

Each lesson life offers us can lead us further down the road to richer self-awareness and better living if we choose to listen, integrate the learning and accept the journey as an essential part of reaching our final destination. But do most of us take the time to see the ariel view- the full picture of what is really unfolding? Many say there is no time for that: it is hard enough keeping up with the day to day. Having set up The Essential Feminine ® Company over the past 2 years I recently felt the need to slow down and have a sabbatical – a regrouping. I took time over the past 8 months to journey to Boulder Colorado – at the foothills of the great Rocky Mountains. Nature has always been a great teacher for me and during this break it has been the most amazing gift. It taught me so much. I learned that I need to take time to reflect- daily on what is most important to me and where on each day- I need to place my precious life force and attention.  I learned that I hear more when I am still and I learned that the richness of family and close friends is something I cannot live without.

The biggest lesson of all has been around the daily practices and care that I allow myself- when I am going slow enough to listen I can hear what I really need. For me it is essential to have a daily rhythm and balance or I spin out. I guess you could say that sometimes when we create our dreams we experience a birth and after birth even though we adore our baby – we still need to come home to ourselves. So what does all this mean to you and your life? I think you have to answer this question for yourself .Here are a few questions I had to ask myself to put many of the pieces back together in my own life.

• Where are things working for me now?
• What needs to change or be different?
• How well am I taking care of my self- body mind and spirit?
• Does the work I do satisfy me and align with my values?
• What is next for me?
• What is most important to me right now- is it in my life?

The time I took in nature and contemplation – gave me the reflection time I need to write a course that reflects an amazing journey- the one I have just completed myself- I call it the Elixir Course. Quite a while ago I missed an international flight while reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho a life transforming fictional classic that I believe is right up there with many of the great books of wisdom. As I sat reading in the airport I think I was most inspired and enthralled by the clear way that Paulo communicates the fact that we are not alone when aspiring towards creating our dreams- there is so much support on so many levels and in so realms- seen and unseen. We just need to be clear about what we most desire and dream of and then we must begin to reach for our dreams. Most often in these dreams and desires you will find the life you are really… here to live. Many of you know that I believe that each of us have a reason (meaning) for being here and when that meaning lines up with our values and with the gifts we have to offer- the universe opens up and success and fulfillment prevail.

This quote- below- from the Alchemist really got me started in pursuing my dreams and has stayed with me long after the plane flew over my head in Heathrow – London.

“It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting….And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” 

I guess you could say the veil lifted for me on that day in the airport and my life work to support women began. You never know exactly where the light bulb of life will go off for you! Always pay attention! I recently sat down and created a course for a small group of women that is the accumulation of my life’s work and learning’s. I will be sharing this with a small group of women starting in early June.  I am totally excited to work intimately with women on this shared journey.

How to Attract THE…. Exact Right Clients to Serve Now!

This week a client asked me about the ways I attract clients…she went on to say “what if I am really committed to fill my practice now- what are the steps that you suggest I take”???

I thought you might enjoy my answer as it applies to all -who may want to jump start your consulting or coaching business. Remember attracting clients involves doing and being… the state of mind we are in when we speak to people is felt by those we are speaking to.

That said it is always best to set a goal for the number of new clients you desire and then carve out a realistic amount of time- say- 1 month or 2 months – to give yourself– to totally prioritize building your client base. This will give you breathing room. Nothing good comes from acting out of desperation.  You need time– non-pressured time– where you dedicate yourself and actions to this intention.  I suggest that you give yourself permission to work on this – with a set deadline. You also need to intend that you desire to attract the exact right clients from the inside out.  All the people you attract to work with you need to be consciously attracted to you- by you. They need to understand specifically how you can be of service to them. This requires that you truly “know thyself “and the gifts you offer. To attract the right clients from the inside out you need find a place stillness to get very clear about what you offer that is of great value to your client. What meets their most important needs?

Also remember that inside out client attraction needs to be done in a state of trust never get it right if - even deep within we feel any sense of scarcity… I know this may sound twee but it is absolutely essential… Trust me.

It is also important to set a clear goal in terms of attracting the exact right clients. Is your business full at 8 clients or 20? I work with 9 women at a time in my Boutique Consulting- and then I start a waiting list. Know what works best for you and then start to picture them signing up to work with you. Picture what you are offering them and see the relationship as being and excellent match.

Now let’s get started with the exact steps:

• I suggest that you immediately create a clear powerful sentence or two that explains what you can specifically change for a client and or what needs that you will specifically meet for your new clients.  Write this down – rehearse speaking it.  Having a strong clear voice and speaking about what you have to offer (uniqueness) – will attract people on the spot- if you are really ready to attract clients. I know you have said you have a gift and bring it through in a different way … how uniquely will you meet specific pressing needs they have. Speak it clearly.

• A very clear picture of who you can best serve now- List the 10 women you now want to work with and know why. Call them – let them know what you offer.

• Make another list of 10 other women you have met – align with– and who you could invite to have a month of sessions as a trial. They differ from the above – because they may want a short series of sessions for clarification – possibly using numerology. Design a short reasonably priced offer to get them from muddled to clear. (Price it fairly to invite and make it easy financially). 

• Create an offer for clients that you have already served well and ask them if they need a regroup session and to spread the word about a Spring Make over offer or??? Offer.

• Offer 3 comps sessions– mini sessions to women that have attended an event you have spoken at. In my earlier career to get better known I did this and it usually led me to a client or 2.

• Schedule 5 calls or meetings with women you know to get their thoughts on who they know that you think you could serve NOW. This will really start spreading… the word. Offer to help them with something they need.

• Start picturing an event that you will host- that is cool and fun –that would bring women together – where you are at the center— create a catchy fun offer like on spot coaching or something to give the event a party feel.

• A Clear State of Mind with a high level of pure intention—internal knowing- attraction and trust and tenacity!!!

It was fun to take this apart and support my client. I hope this gets you moving in a new and creative direction. This week my client and I will start working in a focused and customized way to support her in filling her practice.

 I suggest you go for it yourself. The world needs you now more than ever!!!!

Do YOU Know what YOU most need right now? Why Does it Really matter?

In the past year we have had the honor of working with many, many women and we have learned so much more about what we women need. I still deeply believe that when we insure that our basic needs as women are met we can serve others in our life at a much higher level. So - I am really a strong believer that we must know our personal needs and desires and act to fulfill them so that we can be more present – more caring and so that we can live richer deeper contributing lives.

You see you are so special and so unique that it is essential that you understand why and how to be fully alive and engaged in your life. This is what being fully conscious means. I also believe that when you really understand who you are and why you are here– you come out of focusing just on yourself and you become a much more significant contributor in your family, community and you more fully show up in all areas in life. I am beginning to really understand that since we are here for reasons much bigger than our self and our personal needs we have a responsibility to live knowing ourselves and that we then can go beyond our basic needs and include the needs of all-  the whole. The art for us women is to find the balance between giving and receiving and caring for others and making clear time available for us to look after our own needs.

To date we here at The Essential Feminine Company have focused on:

•  The Powerful Attributes that you naturally hold as a women and how needed they are in the world
• Your redefined definition of Success and how redefining success CHANGES THE QUALITY OF MOST WOMENS LIVES DRASTICALLY
• You’re Divine Destiny and how when you are clear on why you are here (the deepest meaning of your existence.)

One thing that I have learned in all the events and conversations that I have had to date is that women want to learn how to live with greater ease and fulfillment. For some this means cutting back busy frenetic schedules, for others this involves taking time for ourselves and finding a natural rhythm and for others it is a matter of balancing the many highly active areas of our lives with specific time set aside for us to simply enjoy our life.

So back to where we started- Do YOU know what YOU most need right now? Why does it really matter? My answer is yes it does really matter and it also really matters that each one of us be clear on why we are Really here and be sure to check each day to see if we are living this purpose.

There Came a Time When I Had to Line Up What I Have Been Reading and Put It to Good Use in My Own Life

I now really believe that life is both a process and a journey. It’s funny – I have been listening to great inspiring speakers for many years, reading amazing books and spending much of my life looking at what makes me/us tick and how  I/we can live more conscious satisfied lives.

I know many of us have been doing the same. My own life has been my main test laboratory and I have also been honored to work with many women who have also taught me much in these areas. Yet this past year has presented me with number of tests that have forced me to look deep and hard at how I am living my life and, because of this personal inquiry, I have something that I want to share with you — my personal new learnings that are transforming my life.

I have been writing a lot these days about how we rush around and live our lives without being in touch with who we are, with what we really need and with what we really have to offer in the way of our greatest gifts and talents.

I stopped this month to look closely at how I am living, what is working and what is not working and took time to look closely at three key principles that, now that I am using them in my practice, have been changing the entire quality of my life! I am now convinced that when these three qualities below are all lined up together  in my day, amazing things happen.

These qualities are:

• Gratitude with a very focused intentional approach
• Conscious choices, the vehicle of our daily actions
• Self awareness  of our personal destiny

Recently, I have been looking at specific ways to create greater ease in my own life and I have been working  daily with all three principals and have truly been able to slow down, smell the roses (of summer) and accomplish way more with ease.

I am convinced that life can be lived with far greater ease and that it is our responsibility to create the elixir of attributes and qualities that we need to focus on and live within our lives daily. This is true consciousness!

I invite you to revisit gratitude and her close friends and supports, particularly now because I believe she holds essential potential that may be very important to your success and how you are currently living your life.

I believe that there are a number of key universal principals that need to come alive and off the pages of the books we have been reading in order for the world to become a better place. I also believe that we women need to show up and lead the change that is so needed in our world today!
