Ready to Take the Plunge?

I believe now more than ever before in the history of planet earth that we are all being asked to:

v  Know and live with the exact purpose that we are here to live- in the forefront of our day and in the way we prioritize our time use.

v  Realize that we are the caption of our own ship. We by our beliefs and actions, each day, guide the outcome of our life.

v  Life is wonderful when we find out where we need to wake up ( form old habits, limiting beliefs and all else that keeps us small) and when we begin to bust through all limitations and fully show up as the amazing being we truly are.

I now see precisely where I have held myself back and I now know just how clear my day to day intentions need to be. It has become clear to me in my own life that the clearer I am about my intentions the more powerful the outcomes are.  I guess by now the sounds obvious since so many world teachers are focusing on the power of intention.  The trutIMG_2513h of the matter is that it needs to become an integrated part of our daily practice or these are just senseless words. And the real truth is that a new portal of possibility has opened and your fully showing up is not just a nice thing – it is essential for us to turn spaceship earth around from the nose dive it seems to be facing.

We now each need to understand what the bigger picture of our life holds.  What is the meaning we are here to express, or live or create?  True magic in life arises when we line up this bigger picture with our daily choices.  The bigger picture serves as a litmus test in which we can begin to measure if our life is in alignment or not.

For many years, I’ve been discussing the idea that each of us has a higher purpose or meaning.  It is the responsibility of each of us to discover our own higher purpose.  A few questions that you may want to ask yourself might include:

·         How can I allow more good into my life?

·         What brings me pure joy?

·         What is deeply meaningful for me?

·         What is the best way for me to develop a life that allows me to live my purpose or meaning for being here now- today?

·         What is the best way for me to create quiet time or time for introspection so that I can find the true answer to this question?

It’s funny- I was just thinking how fast time moves by…like a swift moving river. As I speak with women today on a regular basis I hear the comment that life moves so fast.  For this very reason it is essential that we create time to answer these very important questions.  Once we do, our quality of life becomes far richer and more meaningful.

1004991834_5eVnU-LIf we finally put an end to the prejudices and persecutions that have caused so much bloodshed and suffering, we have to leave behind cultural traditions that justify violence and abuse in the foundational relations between parents and children and between women and men.  The acceptance of these violations provides a model for accepting human rights abuses across the board.

Riane Eisler “The Power of Partnership”

There is no reason for us to hurt another in any regard.  The unrest of the world is a reflection of our own unrest.  Take a look at your life and notice where you could be at peace.  Take one small step today to increase your own inner peace.  Have faith that this action will add to universal peace.

Give yourself permission to create something new in your life today.

Stop glorifying being busy long enough to slow down, feel your body, and live a much healthier, creative and inspired life.  When you are not overbooked and pushing to prove yourself, you allow yourself to live in the moment and life becomes invigorating and exciting.  For years our cultures have encouraged us to rush and to push to produce.

Recently I’ve taken more than my usual time for reflection and contemplation as I was starting to notice that I falling into the glorification of busy syndrome.

Over the past couple of months I have totally reevaluated my next steps and created a far more relaxed set of intentions for the year.  I’ve begun to turn more inward towards my intuition for answers and next steps.  I’m making more time for reflections, nature and to notice my natural rhythm.

I wondered:

  • Where are you spinning out in business or life?
  • What needs to happen for you to take more time for you, nature and inner listening?

I’m hosting a mini retreat to address these issues and would love for you to join me in April.

The only way to powerfully achieve what you set out to do is to create a clear vision for business and life.  This vision will serve as a guide for you to grow into what’s next.  Your vision also helps you communicate to others what you intend to create.  The art of creating has a clear metaphysical rule which is “if you can believe it you can achieve it”.

conceived in vision. the essential feminine woman

For many women, their business is a reflection of some aspect of their talents, gifts and values.  In this case it easy for them to communicate about their business because their heart is in it.  I truly believe that we need to create our life so that we live with our gifts and values at the forefront with a clear vision for both how we want to live our live and create our businesses.

I’ve created a few questions for you to answer below that I believe will help you connect more deeply with what you offer in business or your work life and will most likely connect you more strongly with what you offer in the world.

  1. What is the greatest value your business provides others?
  2. What is the greatest joy your business provides you?
  3. What is the greatest wish you have for your business?
  4. What is the vision you hold for your business going forward in the next year?

I strongly believe that we need to re-enliven our connection to our business on a regular basis.

Did you get any new insights or revelations from answering these questions?  Please let me know.

Take good care and remember to take time for you.

Is Your Life Full Of Simplicity, Order, Harmony, Beauty And Joy?

Wonder what would be different if they were?

“Simplicity, order, harmony, beauty and joy – all the other principles that can transform your life will not blossom and flourish without gratitude.”

I suggest that we all make sure we build gratitude into each day. Consider making it a daily practice. Let’s start together today. I agree full heartedly with Sarah.

The qualities that she mentions in the quote above are at the top of my mind these days. Simplicity has become a good friend as I have noticed I have a tendency to over complicate things. Order – gives me freedom from chaos and more clarity.

Beauty and joy are at the center of my every day. I am realizing how important it is to consistently notice how ever present beauty is in our day.  Joy is a choice –again, available to us every day if we take the time to clear disharmony and to invite joy in.

Harmony is the quality that brings peace and has a pleasing effect in our lives.

It is a quality that I have been paying a lot of attention to these days.  I have been noticing that both me and the good earth are crying for greater harmony. Mother earth has been thrown off balance. In many ways we live off her yet separate from her.  When she is off balance we are all off balance.

In the stream of consciousness that I am sharing with you here– I feel a distinct desire to return to gratitude. Gratitude is where we become conscious of these gifts and is a resting place for us to pay reverence and to root them more deeply in our life. Always remember- each day – to find time to rest – in gratitude. The rewards are huge.

Life is fast and full for most of us! It is important to make a conscious decision to quiet the mind, connect with the body, and evaluate whether or not we are expressing our gifts fully in the world. All three of these practical expressions can make a major difference in the quality of our lives!

Three Must Do’s to Make Conscious Decisions In Your Business and LifeConsider the following:

1 Quieting the mind

  • Set aside time in silence at least 3 days a week for 20 minutes. Begin to get to know yourself, your needs, your desires and aspirations. Learn to identify and trust your intuition and inner voice. We all have an inner voice that guides and directs us. We just need to listen.
  • Question: Can you think of 1 way this week that you could actually create more calm & stillness?

2.  Connecting with the body

  • Learn to become more aware of your body’s needs.
  • Listen more closely to the signs that your body gives you, i.e. where are there aches, sensations, and areas of tightness? Is your body sending you a message?  What might the message be?
  • Explore these sensations through yoga & movement. Your body holds great information about its own healing needs and emotional state of being.
  • Question: What 2 things would you need to do differently to begin to honor and care for your body in a new way?

3.  Expressing our gifts in the world

  • Begin to look at the day-to-day changes that you can make in your life to express more of who you really are.
  • Evaluate whether or not your day is made up of work activities and projects that fulfill you.
  • In the course of each day, do you fully express your greatest gifts? (For example, if you’re a writer, make sure that your day includes writing; if you enjoy people, make sure that your day involves social contact and is not limited to working at a desk job; if you enjoy nature, make sure that each day includes time outdoors.)
  • Question: How could you bring more joy, richness, and fulfillment into your life on a daily basis?  What areas of our life could you improve?

As we learn to honor these small and simple things, we begin to connect more with who we are and why you here .  From these discoveries we begin to create deeply meaningful lives.

“I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. My wisdom flows from the Highest Source. I salute that Source in you. Let us work together for unity and love.”

-Gandhi’s Prayer For Peace

I read this prayer for peace the other day and it opened a flood gate within me. Inner voices within me raised many questions. I wondered if we offered each other peace, love and friendship — again, how different would this world be? If I could see your beauty, hear your need and feel your feelings how differently would I relate to you? If we could believe that our wisdom flows from the highest source and salute each other, what would be the general feeling on the street?

What do we have to lose? Let’s work together for unity and love.
